CommScope places great emphasis on ensuring that its partners, designers and installers have proven and up-to-date knowledge and that both design and installation are done by such experts. To this end, there is a number of various trainings available for the NETCONNECT, SYSTIMAX and RUCKUS portfolio. These theoretical courses are integrated into CommScope Infrastructure Academy.

Courses can be found at https://www.commscopetraining.com/catalog/ and can only be accessed electronically. In the case of free courses, course materials can be accessed after registration whereas materials for paid courses are available after paying a course fee. Video lessons and slideshows can be viewed online or on the trainee's device after downloading them. Watching the materials is a prerequisite for taking assessments and tests.

It is in the interest of both CommScope (the manufacturer) and the contractors to gain the knowledge required for installation and checking its technical quality as well as preparing the appropriate documentation and design. In addition, it is also one of the conditions to becoming an installation partner which, in the case of cabling systems, is a prerequisite of participating in the 25-Year Extended Product and Application Warranty (System Warranty) program.

The training system is a closed one, courses and tests are currently only available in English. Each course participant is required to study the materials individually and do the tests online.

CommScope's Hungarian representative in collaboration with OMIKRON used to carry out different trainings and examinations in order to offer in-depth professional knowledge but these will no longer be available. However, utilizing the expertise and experience previously gained, OMIKRON can continue to support its contractual partners in acquiring the necessary knowledge and passing the required exams.

Companies which meet the criteria and have the appropriate parameters can be awarded the "CommScope NETCONNECT Select Installation Partner" title. Selected partners are listed on CommScope's website and can participate in the 25-Year Extended Product and Application Warranty (System Warranty) program afterwards.

Besides CommScope's official training courses, OMIKRON, as a CommScope Distributor in Hungary, also organizes and offers training sessions itself in order to meet its partners' needs. These events are held at OMIKRON's company site or at the partner's site or even at the installation site, if required. The organization of the courses and their fee depend on the number of participants, course dates and the location.

In case of RUCKUS products and services, the first step is the partner registration, in which our colleagues can offer assistance based on inquiries sent to kereskedelem@omikron.hu. The following table consists of the minimum requirements, courses and the required number of participants and/or test takers for partners at different levels. RUCKUS Partners must achieve and maintain the accreditations and/or certifications of their choice.

• Certifications – verified, paid, online tests available by a third party

Technical accreditations are valid for three years from the date of completion.

Sales and Pre-Sales accreditations are valid for one year from the date of completion.

Within six months from the date of partner registration, everyone must complete the compulsory tests for their level (it does not have to be the same person). The system sends information about the validity of accreditations and certifications.

The benefits of partner registration and trainings are that the partner can register their projects for which they receive discounted prices (Deal Registration). Different partner levels and deal registrations allow partners to benefit from various promotions and obtain special prices.
